I have a JVC KD-S640 cd player in my car. The battery went dead and now that it's recharged, the player gives me an Error 10 message. Help?

My JVC 20 inch tv Model No. Av - 20CM4 works great but after watching for a while the screen goes black. If the side of the tv is hit sometimes it works again. I was told this might be the tube. Let me know if you can figure something out.

Model: JVC GR-D72US Serial: 149V0826 Purchased: January, 2005 - Registered with JVC: Date of purchase My camcorder began showing vertical flowing lines in the viewfinder instead of images. I tried resetting to original factory settings, to no avail. Calls to Customer Service produced a mixed-bag of inefficiency: The 1-800 numbers are looped . . . The automated message quotes the same phone number for all services but it is virtually impossible to speak to a human to secure proper directions. Emails to Customer Service have produced no results at all. No reply. I did finally speak to a technician who told me to remove the battery and let the camera sit for one hour. I went him one better and let it sit overnight. No change. He further said that if this method did not work I should ship it to Houston for repairs. A later conversation revealed that I needed to send "proof of purchase" along with the camera and a data-sheet describing the problem. I am awaiting a statement from Visa Bancshares with my statement to prove purchase in January, but I wonder why that wasn't covered by registering the purchase. Anyway, I would appreciate detailed instructions of how I should prepare the camera for mailing to you, and some idea how you will proceed once you get it. And, if at all possible an estimate of how long you'll require to repair or replace it. I'm assuming that the only cost I'll incur will be shipping since the 18 months warranty is still in force. A speedy reply would be appreciated. John Syers, Jr. jsjr77640@excite.com (409) 982-1764

Hi. I purchased a 27" JVC AV-27530 television less than 4 years ago and i am having a problem with horizontal lines running across the screen for about the first 5" of the screen. I've been told that it might be the vertical deflection system. I was wondering if this is the problem and it is something i might be able to resolve myself or should i just toss it out. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks Jim
