Regards to JVC AV-36D503 8/2002 model. How do you get into the service menu? I need to spread the screen vertical a bit. I have 4 options of which none work. All consist of time set to 3:21AM and sleep timer to 0 and so on. Very sad as TV has 1/4" black strip around picture. Thanks for any help Howard

I HAVE A JVC CAMCORDER MODEL GR-SXM250U AND EVERYTIME I TURN IT ON AND TRY TO RECORD A MESSAGE FLASHES SAYING REMOVE LENSE CAP WHEN THE LENS CAP IS ALREADY REMOVED AND IT WONT DO ANYTHING ELSE. I CAN PLAY BACK THINGS I PREVIOUSLY RECORDED ON TAPE AND THAT'S IT. HOW AM I ABLE TO GET THE REMOVE LENSE CAP MESSAGE OFF AND BE ABLE TO RECORD AGAIN.

I own a JVC miniDV camera model#: GR-DVL915U. I have two persistent problems: 1) An error message to re-install the batter (with unit in safeguard mode). This occurs whether I use it off a charged battery or with the AC plug. When this happens, I am not able to use any of the recording or playback features of the camera. It usually takes several hundred attempts of removing and reinstating the battery to get the unit to work. 2) An error message to clean the heads. This is accompanied by really distorted images during playback. I have used a special head cleaning tape, several times, with no improvement. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Gene

.My Digital Video Camera will not record at all. The screen goes black but,it still records sound on it.. My Video card will not show anything either. The screen also stays darkened when that selection is choosen also.I have changed the tapes and made sure the record on the tape,is put on record instead of the safe selection. The camera will play back previous recordings on my tapes but,not on my memory card. There is no light or anything else that can be seen through the veiw finder or on the monitor. The display figures is showing.I have had this camera for about a year and a half and not had used it very much at all. I would deeply appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you. V. Simmons
