Our jvc tv clicks on and off repeatedly and the only way to stop it is to unplug it.

I have the JVC DVD 7 disc player model XV-F80 since about 2002 and had no problems until now. I was playing a dvd for my daughter and I heard a pop sound and looked up at the tv screen to see the following message: "upgrade application initializing" and the front of the player said loading. I left it to see what would happen for about 20 mins then I just turned it off. I tried to remove her disc first but could not. After I turned it on I opened the player and took out the disc, all disc were out, and the message came up again.
I turned it off and unplugged it for the rest of the day and in the evening I turned it on only to see the same message. I did call JVC and the CSR told me he never heard of that message and I should bring it to a JVC Authorized repair. Can you help me with this problem.

Wife sat on the remote, the television is now on "lock mode...." How do I unlock this locking feature? What if any, default codes? How do I input this code via the remote control. Your help is requested. Thank you.

I have a JVC AV48P776 tv that I have had for over three years. I now have green vertical lines going through my pictures on all video inputs. I read somewhere that the light engine might be the issue. Does anyone know this part number and how easy is it to install?

I had purchased a JVC LCD TV (LT47x579) approximately 4 months ago. I turned it off and hooked it up to a surge protector. When I tried to power it back on, all I get is a clicking noise like it's trying to turn back on and then a flashing blue indicator light. I have just moved and purchased it from Ultimate Electronics, so I have no clue where any of my paperwork is on it and honestly I don't have the time to be taking it in. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to fix it.
    Thank you
