i have a jvc dvd digital theater system,model th-m505(sp-pwm505),when i turn it on the green indicator lite comes on,then i hear a cleck,and the light goes out,the indicator light is on the powered sub woofer,evereything else works dvs player ect. just no sound. hope you can help me,thanks in advance brian neels at b.neels@comcast.net

I have a jvc THM 505 All of the sudden the when I play a dvd there's no voices [ muffled voices ] can be heard in the surround mode , it also happens in the PLII movie mode while in the VCR mode . Any help would be appreciated . Ps. All speakers play and sound OK in other modes

JVC av-31bp6 is my model tv i have a horizontal line running through middle of screen, i hear either the ic convergence is problem or possibly a bad zener diode, have resolder in the power supply and the ic because i hear of solder connections being possibly bad still same problem, this is what i've noted though if i tap on the hv transformer i get picture back to normal tap again and back to horizontl line, i want to be sure if this is the issue the hv trans. because the lowest price i have found is $95 and past this expense it is really not worth fixing, if you could let me know a way of checking this transformer would be greatly appreciated. I have a JVC AV56WP30 and the blue convergence is shot. It all of a sudden shifted the blue far out of auto or manual convergence fix. The picture and convergence grid show blue as shaky and an almost bow tie shape. I'm curious what repair is needed and if it is something easily done. No warranty so would like to repair myself or get an estimate or list on items needed to repair. Thanks.
