I purchased the JVC GR-D72US camcorder because of the reputation behind JVC products. I've always purchased JVC products untill now... I've contacted JVC numerous times in regards to the Horrible motor noise this camera picks up. I tried searching High and Low on the net for an easy fix.. to me this noise is so annoying that when I edit my movies I remove all audio and add subtitles... pretty pathetic for a $500 camera... I should have took the hit with the 20% restocking fee instead of depending on JVC customer service to get back to me with a fix.

I have a JVC Mini DV digital camcorder. We recently bought a dvd recorder in hopes that we could transfer all of our tapes onto a dvd. We don't have any sound and when we play back our old tapes there is no sound now when before there was. It seems that the sound in the camcorder is broke and it was scratchy for a few minutes and now completely gone. Who can fix it? What do we do?

What does the "edit" function on an analog VCR actually do? The manuals all say to turn it on when dubbing for a better quality copy but why?

grax7gyu--camera is certainly older but has worked well until recently. It only records in black and white and I cannot find anything in the manual that would help me. Any ideas?

We have the GR-D9ous and we've lost picture when recording on our camcorder. We can see previous recorded material but get a black screen when we try to record new material. Any suggestions?
