    Hi,
I'm considering to get my camera repaired. The only problem seems to be the damaged display - the upper part is completely useless, and since I can't set up the camera without seeing the settings on the display... you get it. I actually slept on the camera. It still makes downloadable, nice pictures in "Landscape" mode (the last mode it was set up to).
Do you think it's worth repairing this problem of the Sony? How much do you think replacing the Sony display would be? Or should I just buy a new camera?

    Best regards,
    Csaba Csernatoni

what would you charge to replace a gear motor assembly on a sony cybershot dsc-p93. the motor grinds and wont open the lens.

Hi, my camera is only about 4 months old. It is a Sony cyber-shot DSC-W120 and out of no where it stopped working. I tried turning it on but the lenses seem stuck about halfway and it shuts down immediately.

I have a Sony Handicam #CCD-TRV43. All it needs is to have the power button put back on. Could you please give me an estimate? Thanks!

We had the same problem and a few whacks on a table with a towel on top to dampen it a bit got it working again.
    Thank you all very much.

My son dropped my Sony Smart Zoom DSC-P8 Cyber Shot camera and now the lens is stuck out. If you turn the camera on all it does is make a whirring sound but nothing else.

Do you think it could be repaired, and if so roughly how much it would cost. The case and everything else seems fine.

I need to know because I could claim for it on my insurance but I have an excess of £75 so am not sure if it would be worth it.
