I have a Sony dsc-f828 which originally my son dropped and the flash stopped working. I opened it to see if I could see the problem and now the camera won't switch on. Is it worth repairing or should I look for a second hand one. Thanks . Gregory.

I have a DSC T100 that is about 18 months old. It seems some grit has worked its way under the sliding member and when I turn the camera on there is a continual noise that I expect is the focusing system. The camera still works but I need to get it cleaned to stop the noise.

s bains - 15th Oct 2009 12:28 Hi,
I have exactly the same camera with exactly the same problem> The flashbulb element inside the flash window has shattered. Did you ever manage to sort it out with your camera? Any advice?
Many thanks.

Hi, i dont know if this post is still valid but i have a sony cybershot DSC-W30, everytime i try to put it on it says: access" then "turn the power off and on again. i got told several times that its the lens which has been displaced so its a small matter of replacing the lens. So if you do still repair the cameras please let me know. And the camera is in Greenwich,London.
Thanks. Wasif
