I just bought an OEM deck out of a 1997 Pontiac. It is an AM/FM/CD/EQ deck that plugged in directly to my 1995 Olds Cutlass Ciera. It powered right up and worked --- with the exception of the CD player. I put a CD in and it gives me the E20 error code and then spits out the CD. Do you have any helpful suggestions to remedy this problem? Thank You. D.S.

I get the C3142 error code on my sony dsr45 deck, but only from one particular tape. I realize this is a loading error. All the other tapes work fine, including DVCam as well as miniDV. The tape causing the problem is a mini-DV 80/120 minute. I'm thinking the problem is with the tape, not the deck. Any thoughts? Thanks, Thom
