Error Codes Assistance

Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

    Stacy,
My camera has worked just fine for at least 4 years. Now all of a sudden I have the eject icon coming up with C:31:22. I have bought a new batter, new tapes. Nothing seems to help. I can't afford another camera or an expensive repair. Can you help me?

    Thanks,
    Lesa

I have a Kodak LS443 digital camera that worked perfectly for a little over a year, and then quit working altogether. I called Kodak and was told they don't fix that model anymore, but that I could trade it in for either another new camera or a used one. Or maybe a needed a new battery. I bought one for $20, at no avail. I did not trade in my caera, either.
Then, today, online, I found postings by other LS443 owners who had a similar problem, except that they got error codes. One of the posters said he (or she) had an E18 error. The writer said he (or she) laid the camera on its back and looked at the lens and saw that it was slightly off-center. The writer pressed on the part of the ring around the lens that had a gap, and there was a clicking sound and the lens went back into place. Since then, the writer has done this two more times.
So, I tried it. I got the clicking sound, but the lens was still off-center. I turned on the camera and, for the first time, got an error code -- E45.
I googled E45 and found that this error -- stuck lens -- seems to be endemic with the LS443. Any suggestions?

    Hi Stacy,
I hope that you can assist me. I have a Panasonic DVD Player portable, model DVD-LS90. It is about two years old and gets used a lot. When I switch it on, it tries to read the disc but stops and displays error HO3.

If you have any idea how to fix this problem I would appreciate your feedback.

    Regards and thanks
    Charles

My Samsung VR3559 VCR stops after putting a tape in it. This happens every time now and it won't play a tape. The heads have been cleaned even though the unit wasn't used that much to start with. Can you suggest anything.

    Thanks!

    Hi Stacy
I read your code assistance as I have a SONY pfm 500m 1we
I have the 12/22 code all the time and it resets and then
the other leds on the front come on
I can't find evidence of any damage to the
ribbon cables/epoxy on the left or right of the screen
Am I clutching at straws here?
I am amazed that people would have paid bulk money for
maybe 5 years of use and not gone ape

    Please reply
    Thanks for your assistance
    Derek
