Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

I own a SONY A100 DIGITAL SLR CAMERA.
Bought it new about 5 months ago.
In the past couple of weeks I have been getting an error code if I try to take a shot using normal light input. The shutter closes very slowly and the error code that comes up is : 0x5b that is 0x5b and that is a zero, not an O.

If I point the camera down to a poor light source - it works fine, no problem. Only when I raise the camera and try to take a normal shot with normal daylight input directly into the lens, the shutter closes as if it were a very long exposure and the error code comes up.

    Any ideas?
    Regards
    David Llewellyn

Hi Stacy - saw your post on Pechorin's and I hope yopu can help.

I have a UVW1800P that has just been fired up after a period of no use. First tape I put in was fine, I fast forwarded thro' the bars (sounded a bit clunky) and hit play, when the error code 02-694 appeared. Nothing I do clears it.

    Are you able to help?

    Many thanks,

My JVC GR-SXM750U camcorder says that the lens cap is still on. We have only used this a total of 5 or 6 times. If you have any clue I would appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Melanie

    Stacy,
My camera has worked just fine for at least 4 years. Now all of a sudden I have the eject icon coming up with C:31:22. I have bought a new batter, new tapes. Nothing seems to help. I can't afford another camera or an expensive repair. Can you help me?

    Thanks,
    Lesa
