I have a Panasonic DVD/Video CD/CD Player, Model DVD-RV31. I've had it for 4 years plus. Tonight, I put in a DVD to play, it tries to read it several times, and then I get an error code H02. The manual says to press the power to the standby mode and then back to on. This does not appear to have done a thing as I still get the same error. I have a sony kp-53xbr-300 purchased in Nov 99 that flashes 5 times, the service mode says I have 73 AKB circuit errors. I have no idea how to proceed. What procedure do I perform to clear the error message and get it going again? I am not a technician but I do fix my appliances, car, and electronics all the time so I am not afraid to take things apart knowing I can get them reassembled successfully! Maybe it's just a S/W and not a H/W problem but you will have to let me know in either case. Also let me know if the error message is a H-zero-three or H-O-three.
