Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com. I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available. Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you. Stacy Sample Service Coordinator Houston, Texas

Dear sir, I've been using my kodak 330 camera. But one time i placed it in my shoulder bag and the bag was dropped with my camera inside. I did'nt notice my camera not working anymore until 1 week when i started to open it. It says lens error then changes to lens 22. Can it still be fixed/repaired? What shall i do? Please advice me sir, thank you. Nanette

Hi, We have a Panasonic VHS/DVD recorder/player, DMR-ES46V. It's been great until tonight. We came home and the display was blank. We pressed the on button and it displayed a U61 readout. It will not successfully complete a turn on sequence or change format. The time readout is correct and matches our atomic clock. We have just been through a very difficult heat wave. Temps indoor were up to 98 degrees. Today though was much better. We're clueless. As of now we have left the recorder video output #6 which plays and displays all tapes and DVD's and are using just the cable/satellite video output #1. Thanks much for any thoughts you may offer. Thank you very much for being there. Cheers, Bob and Debbie

I work in a Film School and I'm the Post Production Technician I work on all the decks and Macs. I have a Betacam SP Deck that won't take small or large tapes without giving me the Error21-1C1 on the front panel. I have taken out the cage assembly and tested the motor and it's working fine. Then I noticed the motor that engages the tape to the play head wasn't spinning at all. What do I need to do to get this thing working again without having to send it off for repair? My Sony BetaCam SP Deck UVW-1800 is showing me error code 02-694 and refusing to operate or eject. Can you tell me what this signifies? Thank you.

Hi there Stacy, (With apologies, this is NOT an error code enquiry) but you appear to be an angel sent to help). My Sony CCD-TRV45E Video Camcorder shows only a blank blue LCD screen (and blank viewefinder) when I try to playback, ie "VTR" setting. On "camera" setting, the LCD screen (and viewfinder) shows a through-the-lens image perfectly. There are few resources here in Central Queensland to get advicew or repairs. Thank you, Alex

I have a sharp VL-Z3 and the intermittend dew signal makes the camera dysfunctional. I read an article about soldering the joints but this seems a bit tricky. Just tried removing the small battery and this seems to have fixed it but I'm wondering for how long ie I only use the camera about every 4 months and usually for an important occasion. Also I sent the camera back to the place of purchase a few years ago because when the tape gets near the end ie about 1/8 of an inch or so, it stops recording sound. They returned it saying there was nothing wrong with the unit and even though it did the same thing, I found dealing with them too demanding. Any ideas?
