Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  hi stacy - i have a sony mavica fd-87 digital camerera (still photos) and i get an error C:13:01 FORMAT ERROR. ANY IDEAS?

  i have sony cyber-shot 3.2 mega pixel camera it shows error code E61:10.
  have any idea what that means, sony says send it back to them. cost would be as much as a new camera.

  Hello I rececently purchased a sony handycam dvd-dcr101 and after about 5 minutes of recording itll stop and flash c:13:00 "disk error" even with a new dvd. I bought the camera for almost 800$ and sony wants to charge me 200$ for a tune up please help me out!. I would greatly appreciate your help thank you

  i am having DSC-S40 sony digicam flashing error code E:61:40 when i power on camera it takes 15-20 secconds to be ready to take pictures....
  If anybody have any solution/had faced same prob plz reply....

  My JVC CH-X1000 changer is showing an R-3 error. I know this is for the tray. It wont eject the magazine or select any discs. I can manually eject the magazine, but it wont work using the eject button.

    I have R-3 error code too on my JVC CD changer. I guess lens is dirty since sometimes reads and some times gives me R-3. I am going to get Lens cleaner to see if it helps.

      I bought LENS CLEANER which is a disk with brushes and CD chagner works fine now.

  My DCR-PC5 SONY Camcorder has plagued me for the past year with repeated indications of moisture - C21 and the "light bulb" symbol. I try the usual approach of opening and putting it in the sun for a while and have been using plastic bags until the temperature equalizes to the surroundings but now all this is to no avail. I believe the moisture sensor itself is probably the culprit and I would like to turn the sensor OFF is possible. The unit is almost 8 years old at this point and I don't want to send it to SONY and pay their excessive fixed price repair rate. I did that once and for a month the camera was OK but then reverted. It's of no use to me now and I'm willing to take drastic action. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

  I have a new (?) JVC GR-DX77U digicam that worked for one week when I was in Vegas. It failed to start up one time and has never worked since. The tape is still in there, but nothing...NOTHING...will work about it. No error messages, no display, no clicking, no whirring, no nothing. Any ideas, other than using for target practice at the skeet range?

  i have sony vcr that will not eject the tape. the code that displays is 3L 11 7c. can you please tell how to fix this problem.

  I let my grandson use my 95 Olds LSS while I replaced the fuel pump in his Chev S10. He put a cd in the radio and now it will not eject. The radio comes up with code E22. I can't ID the radio, but it plays CD and casette tapes. It's the radio that came with the car new. My son told me I will have to replace the radio. WOW! Thanks for the help. BURT
