  My JVC GR-DVM70 camcorder does something very strange. Upon playback, it shuts off after 3 seconds on its own. Then it attempts to start up again, then shuts off repeatedly. It records just fine - this only happens on Playback. It also won't Fast Foward or Rewind completely. Again, it shut shuts off after a few moments by itself. This all happens using a charged battery or the AC adapter.

  please my jvc camcorder is faulty . when i put it on i would'nt see any picture
  in the view founder i only see a white shaking bacground .

  I have a GR-D31EK video recorder. When the battery was charged up the camera went into safeguard mode. The message says remove and reattach battery.I've done this but message still comes up.Can you help please? Thanks Tony

  MY JVC GR-SXM37U KEEPS COMING UP WITH E03 I DO WHAT SCREEN SAYS AND TRY AGAIN BUT MESSAGES COMES BACK. ANY IDEAS? I CHARGED THE BATTERY CLEANED THE CONTACTS BUT STILL GET MESSAGE.

  Hi there Stacy. This site is from a few years ago, so I'm not sure if this email address is still current, but I'll give it a shot. :) I have the JVC GR-DVL505 and every other time I try to use my camera I get the E04 message saying "Unit in Safeguard Mode" then "Remove and Reattach Battery". Is there a way to combat this problem. It's an older camera so it's seen some use, but I've been seeing this for awhile and would love to resolve the issue. Many thanks!
