JVC repair assistance

If there is no tape in the unit and it is not accepting the tape in...I believe you need it looked at. If the mechanism (tape basket) is not engaging and you have reset the camcorder by removing & re-attaching the power source, then you have done all you can do in regards to troubleshooting.
How old is your camcorder and where are you located?

  My JVC GR-SXM240U vidio camera will not turn on? The power supply polarity had been switched momentarily. Since then it will not power on. Is their a fuse and if so where is it located?

  I had my RX-558V on, and on it's face while trying to plug everything into the back. I smelled something electrical and now it doesn't work. It'll come on and indicate FM then switch to overload right away. I checked all the little fuses and they seem ok. What did I melt or burn up? Please rsvp soon, I need my bach, mozart etc.......

    I have a JVC 540 WAtt 5 drawer Disc changer. With Mp3 capabilitys. But all of a sudden my disc drawers wont open. And it does not recognize the disc that is in it.Please Send me a service manual. I bought it in October of 2003.

  My JVC television just keeps turning off. If I unplug it for a minute the plug it back in it turns back on for a couple of hours then it turns off again, over and over.

  I have a jvc-dv500u that I found and someone could not get the tape out so they force the tape other than that I look find should I get it repaired or is worth it. And where can I get it repaired Thank for your help.

  City College of San Francisco, Film Department has over 21 JVC SR-VS 30U Dual Mini DV VHS decks. Most of the firewire port in those decks are broken. Where should we send them for repair?

  Hello. I am having an issue with my digital video camera. When i try to turn it on, the display says CONDENSATION and it does not leave the screen. I have a JVC digital video camera. Model # GR-D30U. I would really appreciate it if you could give me some trouble shooting advice that perhaps i could do at home. I have already removed the battery and put it back on. Please let me know asap. I would like to know if I have to take it to a repair guy or resolve the problem at home. Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you soon.
