Press the SEL (select) button for 2-3 seconds then use the volume control to adjust the hour or minutes.

I have a model gr-d22u and it was working fine for a few months, then the lcd screen and viewfinder started saying that the lenscap was on, I tried to adjust the brightness but that didn't work. It will record, but it's only blackness, everything else is working perfectly, it just won't display picture. Please help.

I have a JVC GR-D20EK camcorder serial No 118Y1860, I used it for about two months then it failed to charge the battery's even though the charge indicator blinks. I have not looked at it for over a year but found your website and wondered if you had any suggestions?

    regards

I also ave a JVC GR-D30U MiniDV Cam. Yesterday I went to turn it on and I am getting verticle lines appearing in the lcd and view finder. I can still play preivously recorded tapes but cannot record any legible images. Not sure what is causing this but see other people are having the same problem but cannot see any replies as to what the problem may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My tv is 3 years old. In the span of 24 hours the picture started to get fuzzy especially the word (credits,menus,etc...) and then the picture got smaller and what you could see was extremely dark and really only showed black and red colors. Wonder if it is worth repairing?

"Hello Everyone! I really hope someone can help me here...

I just got my first videocam. It's a jvc gr-dvl520. I actually bought it coz im travelling to hongkong to do some researching. I am travelling alone so I cant have anyone help me do the shooting/recording. Now, I have troubles doing the self recording mode in my camcorder. The manual says, just turn the LCD monitor a hundred and eighty degrees and then start recording. Turning the monitor 180deg does not reciprocate what i see in the screen. So when i do the recording i see myself in the monitor upside down. Its kinda funny.. I wonder what the Chinese will think seeing me do the recording like this.
So I am praying someone out there can help me solve this itsy bitsy problem."

I've got the same above problem with my jvc gr-dvl820ea. Could you please help?
    Thanks a lot in advance

    Enson

Re: Av-27f475 Model. I bought a used one, and the channel guard is engaged on a particular channel, and I don't have the original remote yet, or the manual. Can I blank out the channel guard? Thank you, please reply.

    Model No: GR-AX880U

I have recently purchased this camcorder. And when I turn it on to record it is telling me the lens cap is on. But their is no lens cap on it.

How do I get that off?
