Hi,
I have a JVC GR-D33US camcorder. Worked fine for a year. Now it says that the LENS CAP is on even though it is not. Sometimes it just comes back on. Can you help me troubleshoot this?
Thanks

Chad Price - 6th Oct 2005 19:18 I also have the same problem with my gr-d33u. I have the lens cap error also. Was told it is a loose CCD sensor that causes that error.

Michael Fernandez - 21st Oct 2005 23:04 I own a GR-D90U mini DV product for about close to three years. I rarely used this product and have shot footage on rare occassions.
However, it was not then when I got involved with video editing I noticed the same exact Len's Cap error msg. I would leave the camera on auto mode for about 10 minutes and the viewfinder will some how reset itself.
After turning the camera off, then, turning it back on, i'll get the same exact Len's Cap error msg. I tried to investigate the problem online and it turns out that everybody has this same headache with NO ANSWER. www.JVC.com referred me to a moms and pops repair shop where I would have to spend a set up a $35 service fee! How ridiculous is this? I'm sure these repair shops no how to solve this problem. Moms and Pops are just out there to make money.

Can you tell me where I can find a user manual and if I have to have the remote to fix this problem? Thanks,RH Luther

A. Longobardi - 23rd Sep 2005 0:24 Dear Sir,
I have a similar problem with my GR-D90U and was wondering if JVC ever got back to you with an answer to the problem.
Is your camera fixed? or Did you have to send it in for service?
Thanks in advance for your response,
A. Longobardi

Ron - 20th Sep 2005 14:52 The top part of the screen on my JVC TV Model AV-25BT6S seems to be strechted out so that the top of the picture looks our of proportion to the rest. Pointed heads etc. Can I adjust this myself ?

Hello, I do not know the model number of my TV. It is a 36 inch JVC regular tv. Somehow the channels appear with a large black box covering the screen. This just started happening recently. I'm not sure if somehow the channels are locked for some sort of security reason. I do not have any of the original paperwork as I have acquired the tv from my sister when she needed to make a sudden relocation. Can you help me?

Ramesh - 21st Sep 2005 14:34 Hi,
I have GRD30U JVC camcorder for about 3 years. It has been working fine but since last few weeks it is giving "E03" error (the message is UNIT IS IN SAFEGUARD MODE , REMOVE CASSETTE AND RE-INSERT IT). I removed and re-inserted so many times, but no luck. Can you please help me with this problem.
Thanks Ramesh.

Darren Rudloff - 21st Sep 2005 17:08 I have a JVC 27 inch TV from around 1993 -- Model # AV-27CM3. When I turn it on, the full screen is a bright red. After fully warming up, the picture tries to come on, but the red screen continues to flicker on through the developing picture. A local TV guy says the the tube is going bad. He DOES NOT recommend trying to replace the tube and instead recommends replacing the TV.
Does this sound reasonable and correct?
