Shane Treat - 24th Sep 2005 18:50 Hi, I was wondering if anyone could provide some guidance. I have a camcorder (JVC GR-AXM310U) that won’t power up. I have tried the batteries and the charger / adapter, but all that happens is the red led on the power switch flashes once then turns off. The camera won’t power up. Is this something that is common, if so how can it be fixed? I am fairly handy with electronics, but I can’t find a service manual or anything for this. Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated. I have called a repair shop, but they wanted $45 (nonrefundable) just to look at it. I figure before I send it in I would see if I could repair it myself. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Michael Grejtak - 25th Sep 2005 2:46 I have JvC Xv25cu DVD/VCR combo unit - and recently when playing VHS tapes I get quick glimpses of an empty black box showing on the screen which subsequently disappears in a second or two.
Have I accidentally pressed a feature I shouldn't have or is there something wrong with the unit?
The unit is about 1.5 years old.....
Thanks for the help....

John - 26th Sep 2005 20:53 Hi,
My TV (JVC AV-27S33) will not power on. I should mention that we just moved and it worked just fine before we left. It was professionally moved, but they probably managed to screw it up somehow.
The outlet I'm using works just fine for everything else I plug into it.....The power light on the TV illuminates but the front panel button or remote with new batteries will not turn the TV on (nothing at all, including sound).
I took the back off of it looking for something obvious, but I really did not see anything like a blown fuse.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
John

Hi I have a JVC (GR-D 70AA) camcorder I am having a problem with.I am having trouble getting a picture on my camcorder. When turned on I only see black through the lens and through the screen. It looks like the lenscap is still on and Constantly gives the lens cap warning . The LCD is black with the lenscap and focus warnings flashing. Please tell me, what happened and how to fix it. Thankyou

Hello- I have a 36" tube TV about 7-8 years old. Not sure of the model number. It has tv guide plus so its a little different from the base model. The problem is that it has been cutting off by itself for no reason. I could uplug it, wait a while, plug it back in and it would work again, for awhile. Now, it won't power up at all. I guess the power supply is shot. Any ideas?
Thanks Brooks
