Assistance with JVC product
If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

I purchased a /JVC GR-93U Mini DV Camcorder in December 2004 whilst on a cuise holiday around the caribbean. On my return home in January it was put away safely and not used until my Big USA trip this August 2005.
All was well for the 1st two weeks, then at the most crucial moment when we in a helicopter over lake mead and Vegas etc. #E03 Blah Blah Blah#
I nearly threw the thing out of the copter window.
I turned the unit off, ejected the tape as suggested, re inserted it,turned it back on, just pressed record again and bang #E03 Blah Blah Blah#
Not impressed. I am now settled back in the UK after a hectic few weeks back in work. I am now trying to find a JVC specialist who can help me.
The Warranty should be good, I did purchase it in St Thomas though.
I look forward to hearing your comments.

Yesterday a 9x20 inch solid black rectangle appeared in the bottom half of our screen which makes the picture hard to view and very annoying. I tried everything I could in the menu option but still there's no change. Please help! I'm hoping it's a simple problem to fix.

JVC GR-D22U MiniDV I can't get it to focus correctly, otherwise it works perfectly fine. It powers up normally, but the screen shows vertical colored lines when not playing a tape (It plays tapes just fine! and it displays the menu screens perfectly).

Hi
the LCd indicator on my camcorder is not working .
the view finder is working o k . Every else is working
just the lcd screen is not operating no picture .
Please help !

I am using a JVC Digital Video Camera GR-D50EK. Following are my problems: 1)I recorded a video and got it converted to a CD. After my unplugging the camera from the computer peripheral and viewing the cassette again suddenly a message is appearing on the screen "Please Wait", " Condensation operation-paused". With this message on screen neither the camera is playing nor recording. Kindly advice. 2)Sometimes the cassette inserting mechanism is not working.Cassette is not getting locked in the slot and the door is getting open. 3)After long recording on some occassions the tape is getting cut. 4)A blurred black blank screen is appearing even with the lense cap open. cherry - 8th Oct 2005 13:54 The tape got stuck. It wont eject. When i try to use it. it showed EO1. Tried to remove battery and put back again. Nothing! Can you help me? the model is gr-d90u. thanks.

Miles Miller - 8th Oct 2005 16:46 I have a JVC VCR/DVD player/recorder (DR-MV1S) that all of a sudden stops playing and the display flashes "LOADING" and will not do anything. Any clue to what could be wrong?

I have a JVC I Art, AV-48wp74 The screen is distorted bows inward and has fuzzy grey and black lines through it. The picture is recognizable but unwatchable. There is no problem witht he sound. Unable to watch dvd or vhs on it, it does not respond. The TV is not responding to the remote to access menu or switch inputs. Is this a lense or lamp issue?? Can you help with direction I need to go to purchase replacement parts? Tina
