some channels like nickelodeon and fox have a commentator that narrataes or explains what is happening next before a scene occurs. And the sound sometimes works and does not work. any suggestions? jeff

My JVC GR D90U Mini DV Camera says "Condensation, Operation Paused" and then "Please Wait". I just purchased this on eBay and was told the camera "worked great." Does this have an easy fix? Thanks, Tony My JVC GR D90U Mini DV Camera says "Condensation, Operation Paused" and then "Please Wait". I just purchased this on eBay and was told the camera "worked great." Does this have an easy fix? I've already let the camera sit overnight (yes, in a dry place). But the same message appears this morning. Thanks, Tony

I have a JVC minidv camcorder (model GR-D72U), I turned it on today and there is no picture, it says to remove lens cap. But the lens cap is off, and I used it a month ago with no problem. Is there anyting I can do to fix this myself?

I have a JVC GR-D270U DV Cam. I haven't used it in awhile and when I did recently, I tried to play a DV tape and it was completely distorted. There were lines throughout the entire screen. I tried the same tape in another DV Cam and it played fine. I'm wondering if there is a self-cleaning mechanism or perhaps a cleaning kit that would possibly clean the heads. If this doesn't pertain to the situation, could you advise me of a solution please. The camera is only a year old and it's only been used a total of 4 times. Thank you in advance. Respectfully, Robert

Hi Stacy, my trouble is with a trusty JVC XV-SA70 (black) DVD Player. The tray opens, showing Loading on the display, but once the tray is extended open the display never changes to say Open. After that, can either manually push the tray in which case it motors closed, but the display still says Loading ... or else hold the power button for several seconds until the unit goes into standby condition which does not solve the problem. A local shop here wanted me to pay 250 dollars to fix this ... so I opened up the unit and am trying to determine whether there is a sensor used by the tray rail or gearing. I see a hole in the rear center portion of the tray -- perhaps the design assumes an optical event to occur when it reaches that position; thank you for any technical advice that you can offer.
