Hi Stacy! Saw your post on PECHORIN'S. I have a JVC Digital Video Camera, model GR-DV1/AA-V70U,and although I charge the batteries, soon after I put them in, the camera flashes an "E-03" message and then turns off. Any ideas as to what might be going on?

Model# 27d302 problem: vertical initial on check tv and found out that the vertical IC LA7840 is burnt together with D422, do you happen to know the part number or type of diode is this? Do you have any other idea what causes this two component to fail? are there any thing other than the two component(s) that you think is/are broken? or it need to be replace to make it work right? do you have any schematic for this model that you can send me? or atleast for the vertical section of it. thanks in advance John ex-JVC Philippines Inc. tech 1995 - 1999

I have the same problem with the "lens cap" error, everything is working fine (playback,menu options) except for the black screen when on taping mode. I tried adjusting focus & exposure functions manually but all efforts remained futile. I would highly appreciate if you could help me on this. Thanks!!

Hi, This message is in reference to a JVC camcorder, model GR-SXM920U I'm repeatedly getting the error message "EO3" which states "Unit in safeguard mode. Remove and reattach battery." I've tried shutting down power, removing and reattaching battery several times, but still get the same error. Any suggestions? Thank you much! Vicki
