I have a JVC D-Series television set. I am currently using a universal remote with it but i think that i pressed a button on the remote by mistake. Now the TV has a black rectangular box covering half of the screen and i can't seem to make it go away. Please help me with this situation.

I was deselecting digital channels with no content in the channel summary and deselected an instance of channel 0. Thereafter the digital tuner simply stopped working. I have run diagnostics, removed power cord, & reset digital tuner by pressing vol & chan on side of TV for 5 sec. Also tried another channel scan, but after scanning analog channels the screen goes blank. Any time you attempt to access the digital tuner the tv hangs for ~25 seconds, not accepting any input. Is this tuner hosed or is there some way to restart it perhaps setting the entire set back to factory defaults?

Trying to figure out how to set the time for a JVC KD-G320 CD Player

Dear Sir, I have a JVC GR-DVL800 and i am trying to download video from cassette to my computer via firewire. When i connect it it immediately goes via Windows Movie Maker and after rewingding the tape the Camera goes into "Safe Mode". I have sent it away for a service bit the same problem keeps happening. Is there any other way i can download video from the camera to a PC. Thanks Ramy

Hi, I purchased a JVC camcorder GR-D53 E from Gothenburg, Sweden on 21st August, 2005. Recently I am getting a problem with this. It is showing 'LENSE CAP' in recording mode ( A or M) even after removing the lense cap. In the play mode the camera is working fine both in picture and sound. I am now living at LosAngeles, CA. I contacted with the service center of Sweden and they like to repair the camera free of cost, but I have bear the shipping cost for up and down which is quite lot of money. Under the circumstance, I am really upset and don't know how to fix the problem of my camera. I shall be very grateful if you can help me to solve the problem. Looking forward to hearing from you... I am getting Err 3 (error 3) on my JVC KD-S640 car stereo. I've been unable to reset the unit or get it to function. What is error 3 for this unit, and how do I solve the problem? Thanks. Cheers, Frank

My JVC GR-0DX77U will not record, the screen stays black and gives the message that the lens cap is on. It is the same problem as was listed in your post but, I was unable to find the possible fix. Please email me ASAP. I would appreciate any help. thanks D. Ashley

Our Hr-XVC25U, DVD/CD player, which played a DVD last night with no problems, started flashing "Incorrect Disc" this evening when we tried to play a movie. We then tried several othere discs, with the same result. Any thoughts? char
