My daughter has been hearing a humming sound in her TV ever since a video game was played on it a couple of days ago. No humming before that time. Her TV model is JVC AV-32WF35. (I also have this model, no problems.) Do you think the video game might have caused the humming? Any info you can provide will be appreciated.

    Dear Stacy,
While trying to play a DVD on our JVC TH-A9 home theater system, on inserting a disc it did not start to spin and consequently disc did not read . When the " Now Reading " message ended the display changed to 0:00.
Any ideas as to what may be wrong?
I tried a CD and it also refused to spin etc.
the laser carriage moves and light is showing for laser but thats about all.

    Howzit Stacy,

I have a DV camera GRD30 and I used it about 6 hours over a year and a half. It was simple to use and I liked the price $299 at Sears. I have a lense cap message and the view screen is blank. Any ideas? I assume this is a common problem based on the comment boards I have read on Amazon and others.

    Please help. Aloha, Wade

My JVC Model AV-27820 recently began to go from normal picture to a thin horizontal line across the middle of the screen. Giving it a light tap would fix the picture temporarily, but now it does nothing. I checked for bad solder joints and couldn't find any. Could it be a bad D1878 transistor?

Hello, I have a JVC model# AV-56WP30 Rear projection Manufactured in 2002. The color is off, what i mean by this is it looks like the RED color is misaligned or too bright and it put a RED boarder on everything. i took the back off and tried to adjust he RED but i could only adjust it up or down with no improvement. I almost seems like if i could dim the red some it would be better, (which i tried with different types of materials.) Currently i have the RED covered and have adjusted the color to Black and white. The Tv works fine except for that. Any suggestions?

I have the same model and my convergence is terribly off in the upper left corner of the screen. I tried adjusting but it seems I have done all I can do. I have red shadows following the objects on the screen. Any idea how much it would cost to have this fixed?

You are right. When I had the problem fixed, the technician told me that I can expect to have this problem about every two years. He replaced both the red and blue convergence modules for about $260.00.

    Hi,

Have a new HD 56G786 with a HDMI connectivity problem. Green screen and understand that there is a way to reset the connection using the standard remote. What is the procedure for this so I can connect the TV to the DVD player with the DVI to HDMI on TV.

    Thanks,

    Steve Cohen
