hi, i have a gr-dvl725u. I do not have the serial number because it has been ripped off. My camera says it is in safe guard mode and to reattach the battery. It is error EO2. I follow the instructions and it keeps doing the same thing. i also think it is wierd that i am able to still use mempry mode just perfectly and take as many photos as i want. If u know anything i could do that would be great.

    Hi there,

    I am totally frustrated!

For a year now, I have been trying to get my GR-D32U mini DV to connect to my
computer. 3 Differnt computers will not recognize it. I have tried internal
    firewire cards, and PCMCIA.

    Any suggestions?

If this doesn't work soon I am going to bouyancy test it. and buy a non JVC
    camera to replace it.

    Thanks

Hi, I have a question concerning my QVC digital camera, model # : GR-D93U. I seem to have misplaced the manual. I was wondering how I could play film I recorded onto the television. I haven't been able to figure it out. I have the audio and video ports on the front of the TV, but I can't get it to work. Any help would be appreciative. Thank you.

Brian...I see this question is from '06 but in case you still need an answer on the 'playing video camera tape on your tv' question.....there should be a way on your DVD/VCR player/recorder to SELECT INPUT or SOURCE or INPUT. As a rule, there is an 'L1' or 'L2'(Line Input usually on the side or front of the player/recorder) depending on your model/brand that you need too engage the particular input you use. This will hopefully put your camera contents on the tv. Hope this helps you!

Solved the no power problem for JVC GR-D70U

There are several small SMD fuses on the main circuit board in the top side left hand corner just next to the molex header that connects to the battery, dc input board. Of these three black fuses with white numbers on them, I found only two still conducted and so the 'faulty' one I shorted across by cleaning and the use of conductive silver paint (RS Components). You should then find that the 11V supply can be measured here with a multimeter. Ideally the fuse should be replaced rather than shorted, but I am lazy.

PS try and note where all the screws go as there are about four different lenths!

Sometimes that fuse pops if, or as, the CCD develops a problem,(as well as for other reasons of course!). The silver paint referred to would represent a fuse value "grossly" in excess of whats used, these ranging from .2amps (200ma) to 1.6 amps, so "if" you managed to get the camcorder working it can be considered extremely lucky as there was a high danger of blowing a main IC, something which would make the camcorder an uneconomical repair due to the sheer cost of replacing the complete PCB. (PS: The GR-D70U being on the list of models which can potentially develop that fault)

JVC VCR HR-dx22ea I was given the VCR without a remote and need to try and replace it or get assistance with programming a universal remote to operate all functions... currently the universal only works to power on and off and play/stop/record etc. I need\want to tune in the stations and use timer record.
