Assistance with JVC product

  I have a jvc gr-d370u camcorder. I am trying to connect the camcorder to my Pc via firewire, but my pc doesn't recognize a video device. PC runs on MS Xp Pro. Can you help me?

    The camcorder is designed to accept fire wire connection to PC. The camcorder does not control the video communication..the PC does. The PC has to have software/hardware that will communicate with the camcorder. If your PC came with video a software program..it may or may not work depending on the program. If it does not work or seem to communicate, you will need to purchase a program (Pinnacle Studio 9 for example) to install onto your PC so the camcorder will connect and perform the video transfer tasks you wish. The JVC DV camcorders do not come with video transfer/editing programs. The camcorders are designed to work with most programs on the market. Your PC and the programs you have are the key to your situation and solution.

      I am having this same problem. My computer doesn't recognize my camcorder. I do have pinnacle studio 11 and still can't get it to recognize. the 1394 port is working. I am useing cable that came with the camera. Would like any advice

  I have a JVC digital video camera, model no. GR-D50AS. When i connect to my computer which has Windows XP system I get a message of error E01 saying that it doesn't work with XP. What should I do? Iulia

  My jvc 32730 won't power up. It clicks and the power light blinks. It was mfg. in 1997. Any help would be appreciated.

  I just got JVC camcorder 1 and 1/2 years back. A week ago it was working fine and I did not use it after that until now. Now both my viewfinder and LCD screen are blank. It just records sounds, but no picture. I can play back my previously recorded tapes. Any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it?

      I'm interested in knowing what you emailed to the previous person. I'm having a similar problem. Haven't used the video camera in about a year. The viewfinder and LCD screen are basically, blank. There is some streaky light showing when I point it towards a bright object. It records sounds, but no picture. I can play back my Previously recorded tapes do play back with sound. The "demo" mode works also. Any ideas as to what is wrong, if it can be fixed without costing too much? JVC digital video camera, Model GR-D70U

  I hope this msg reaches you. Well I have a JVC D-series Tv. my friend gave it to me when she was moving out. Its model number as on the remote is RMC252. The problem is the visual on the TV screen keeps moving up and down. Like in videos we can V-hold it but this one dont have any button on remote or TV to stop the visual on tv screen from moving up and down . The channels can be obtained my autoprogramming. But like i said before the screen moves up and down and there is only noise sound.

  I have a JVC model GR-DVL520U it tells me to insert cassetee head cleaner tape. I do and still fails to work. First time it did for 1 minute then same message comes up and now continues to display message and will not record.

  I have a JVC-model 27730 TV Problem is I cannot change channels on it from the front or with remote it stays on channel 2 all the time it looks like the lock is set on it (not sure of this )or even if this could be the problem. if it is the problem what do i have to do to over ride the lock code .I dont have a operaters manule. sorry for any bad spelling! I suffer from MS . when i go into the lock set mode the lock image shows a closed lock.with 3 _ _ _ spaces not being the first owner I dont know what code if any was entered into my set I BOUGHT IT AT A AUCTION AFTER THE OWNER DIED .great TV the picture on video mode is perfect better then my wifes new TV as far as I can tell.
  1 where can i gat a new owners mannuel and a new remote control for my TV and caaaaan you tell mw how to get it to change channels and how to unlock the lock code

  My computer won't recognize my camera, model #GR-D270U. Is there a driver out there I need to download separatly?
