Hello, I would like to know where I can get software for JVC camcorder GR-D72U (SER.NO. 178W5375), was bought in USA, and driver for Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Can it be downloaded from internet, if yes, then what exactly I need, where can it be found. I am traveling and would like to use my camcorder as web camera and be able to put the video on PC. Thank you very much.

You need to find out if you have USB 1 or USB 2 capability. USB 1 is only used for photo transfers. USB 2 is fast enough for video transfer just as firewire is. If you don't have a current PC system with USB 2 capability...that may be your problem. Also, if your PC came with a video program..that program may or may not work with the camcorder. Sometimes you have to buy a program (eg: Pinnacle Studio 9) for video transfer capabilities.

Have a JVC GR D33U and does not pickup picture for recording. The VCR will play back a recorded tape display on the camera screen.
    Thanks,

    Dear Sirs,
I have a JVC videocamera model:GR-AX63E, which has the following problem for the last 3months and so I am unable to record:
Once I press the recording button, the camera records for 2-3 seconds and then stops. Have read the manual...can't see to find anything which will help me. The only thing which is in the viewfinder for a long time(though I believe has nothing to do with this problem)is the clock battery warning.
I would highly appreciate your assistance on this subject.
    Thanks/best regards
    V.Mitsios

    Hi there,

I have a JVC AV-27330. The picture seems really dark, and its hard to play video games, watch movies, etc. I have searched everywhere for the service menu code, but can't seem to find it. Can you help me out here? I am in Canada, don't know if that makes a difference or not.....

    Hi
I recently purchased GR-DF430 video camera. I used it about twice and started getting an E04- Unit in safeguard mode - eject tape message. I have tried switching (JVC) tapes but this doesn't help. I can get the camera to work for about two minutes and then I get the message again. Is there anything I can do?
I own the camera for a little over 3 months so I no longer have a warrantee on labor. Do you have any suggestions?
    David

Contact JVC anyway. Even if you are out of warranty by a few weeks and sometimes a month or two, they will work with you --just ask them. Contact (800) 252-5722 and talk to a customer service representative. Make sure you have your proof of purchase information available. You have to prove when you purchased it. A credit card statement, purchase receipt or cancelled check will work usually.
