I have model GR-AXM700. Would like to be able to take it and have it fixed but I don't know where to take it. I have talked the store where I got it but they can't fix it because they say its to old. That was Best Buy. I bought it 12-24-1998. It has been woring very well until just 30 days ago. If there is a number that I can call or some where they can fix it please let me know.
    Thank you

We recently had a flood in our basement---water came through the window and splashed on our jvc 36 inch tv---it would not turn on---we let it dry out for 2 week and it still will not turn on---is it repairable?

    Stacy,
I have a JVC GR-DV900 camcorder. I am having difficulty in accessing the menu and can not get out of safe mode??
I bought the camera second hand and have no CD Rom or Manual. I have downloaded the manual from the Web site but I still seem to be no further forward.

Here's what's happening. I switch on and the screen comes to life. I get a message that the camera is in safe mode and to remove/ replace the battery. I do this but no difference. I can not take pictures or use the video. And as I said can't access the menu to see if I can do something from there. Any advice is Welcome and a service centre in New Zealand would be good.

I am not able to record in my JVC GR-D33AS Digital Video Camera. It gives me:
    1. A black Screen when I set for recording in Auto/Manual mode
    2. There is a hand symbol (something like a stop sign) on the down left hand corner
    3. Even if the Lens cap is removed I get a "Lens Cap" blinking for 3 times and then the message goes away.

I am able to Play my previous recording tapes though but am not able to record any new video, the audio gets recorded.

We have a gr-d30 we bought in 2003. The last time we used it was this summer and it was working fine. Today we turned it on to use it and when the LCD screen is in record or view mode we see nothing but streaky vertical lines. Do you know what the problem is?
    Thanks, K Hallstrom

A while back my JVC Camcorder stopped working. It would come on for one or two seconds then go off. I replaced the battery twice. Now after about a year of just sitting in the case I got it back out. It will power on but all I get is a blank white screen,(in the record and play modes) I put it in play mode and I can tell the rewind and FFW function is working, I can hear it. But all I get is a white screen. Can you help?

Did you ever get an answer to this? My camcorder is doing the same thing. Thanks, M. Smith
