Assistance with JVC product

• Connecting my DVL 817 to computer

  HI, i have the JVC DVL 817. I can't seem to connect to my computer to download my movies onto Windows Movie Maker.
  
  I have been able to download the still pics from the camcorder to my computer, but don't know how to download the movies from the camcorder to the PC

  Lightning strike nearby. Now controller can not turn TV on/off. Channel selection OK. Tried to reprogram controller. same problem.

  I have a JVC GRD270US camcorder and its having the much dreaded lens cap error...
  
  i saw the list of camcorders on JVC's website that would repair it for free...and my model isnt on there.
  
  what am i suppose to do now?
  anybody kno if i can fix this myself?

    The model you mention is unfortunately not on the list of models that qualify for the free repair, so I would suggest you contact JVC on (800) 858-6442. (I cannot send link to JVC as Pechorins blocks pasting in web links in their reply box facilities)

  I have a JVC GR-D31 camcorder which does not pick up light from the lens in recording mode. Message says remove lens cap even though it is off. Can you help?

  Hi i have a jvc gr-d32u digital video camera that recently started to give me lens cap signal.The cap is off but i cant record anything,if you can give me any information to how i can fix that,it will be great. THANKS

    HI.. SEND YOUR CAM TO JVC BEZ THIS FAULT IS FORM COMPANY THEY WILL REPAIR IT IN FREE, EVEN IF YOUR WARRANTY TIME IS OVER

  I HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAS A JVC MODEL CA-MXKB30 HOME STEREO AND SHE TRYING TO PLAY THE CD PLAYER. HOWEVER THE CD PLAYER SAY IT LOCKED AND CAN NOT PLAY THE CD PLAYER. SHE DOES NOT HAVE THE CODE TO UNLOCK IT

  hi,i bought a mini camera camcorder while on holiday in gran canaria in august 2006 at souvenir shop puerto rico morgan model is dv jvc mpeg4 on returning home i have no soft ware to transfer my images onto my computer i wonder if you could assist me with one as the store owner told me i would have one in the packadge i thankyou for your help caroline

  I lost the CD that came with my GR-D94 digital video camera and so cannot transfer videos to my computer. Do you know where I can get the software, and will it allow me to burn a DVD if I have a DVD burner on my computer?

  I bought JVC camcorder GR-D244U. It fell down once from my hand.
  I am not able to close the Casette deck, hence the camera is not working. Could you assit me on this.
