I havea JVC GR-DVL505U video camara since the year 2000, and 3 years ago stop working properly. it says remove battery in safe gard, and also mention error 04, head clening requared. I bought 2 times those specifics tapes for cleaning but nothing happend. At the same time, the charger doesn't change the battery any longer. The green light doesn't come up anymore. I live in NAvarre, Fl close to Fort Walton or Pensacola, what should I do with the camara?
Thanks for your time

I have a JVC digital camcorder model # GR-D53AA Our video camera tells us to take the lens cap off when it is not on. The screen is dark, it will record sound but not picture. We are getting a symbol of a man on the left, two arrows pointing in opposite directions in the middle and mountains on the right.

Y Shi - 23rd Sep 2006 20:49 I have a model: GR-DX97. When I went to use it, it didn't work. It will play what is on the tape but it will not record. The camera says remove lens cap when the lens cap is not on. The screen is black and there are not images. I don't know how to fix it. I have tried taking out the battery, putting the lens cap on and taking it off. I don't know how to fix it. Can you help?

I have a JVC GR-D30U camcorder and I am having a problem with it. When I turn the camera on and remove the lens cap, it appears that the lenscap is still on....no picture recording, but I do get the sound to record. I fooled around with it last night and finally the picture came on...I dont know what I did, but I was in the menu options...I thought the problem was fixed, but when I woke up this morning...its doing it again. No picture. PLease help
