I HAVE JVC 2004 MODEL 48INCH. FOR SOME REASON THE SCREEN IS CONSTANTLY LOOKING SNOWY. EVEN WITH THE CABLE HOOKEDUP. I HAD THE CABLE PEOPLE DO SOME CHECKS AND HOOKED UP THE CABLE TO ANOTHER TV AND IT WORKED FINE. SO I KNOW THAT IT IS NOT THE CABLE. THE TELEVISION HAS NOT ALSO DONE THIS, IT JUST STARTED WHEN I UNPLUGGED THE TELEVISION TO MOVE IT AND PLUGGED IT BACK UP. I BELIEVE ITS ONE OF THE SETTING BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE.

Hi i was wondering if you can help me with this problem i am having with my jvc dv camera, it is a GR-D250U and it has been working totally fine until my sister ruined one of my tapes and i put the tape back together with some superglue and the video cam did show video and sound but then i kept hearing the cam make an agitated sound like its being forced to rewind but then i keep trying to rewind it but i goes into safeguard mode and tells me to check my tape and i did and now even with a tape that isnt even broken, that is basically new and i try to play it but all i see is blue screen when i try to play it and now i dont know how to show any video or sound and ive tryied everything but still nothing happends. It doesnt even show the date and time on the tape either. So if u can help me troubleshoot this problem that would be great, thanks.

FOR THE PAST SEVERAL MONTHS I HAVE HAD COMCAST CABLE HERE ABOUT 5 OR 6 TIMES TO CHECK OUT AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WITH EITHER THE TELEVISION STATION RECEPTION OR INTERNET SERVICE. WHILE THE SERVICEMAN WAS HERE AGAIN TODAY HE DISCOVERED THAT OUR JVC TELEVISION WAS PUTTING ELECTRICAL CURRENT THROUGHOUT THE CABLE TELEVISION LINE WHICH WAS CAUSING RECEPTION PROBLEMS WITH ALL THE OTHER TV SETS IN THE HOUSE. THE REPAIR FELLOW DISCOVERED THIS BY ACCIDENT AS WHEN HE WAS CHECKING THE CABLE FITTINGS LOCATED OUTSIDE THE HOUSE HE GOT AN ELECTRIC SHOCK. A SECOND CABLE TV REPAIR PERSON SHOWED UP AND TOGETHER USING A METER THAT RECORDS ELECTRICAL CURRENT FOUND THE CABLE FITTING LOCATED ON THE REAR OF THE JVC TELEVISION TO CARRY AN ELECTRICAL CHARGE. FOR SAFETY REASONS THEY DISCONNECTED THE CABLE FROM THE REAR OF THE JVC TELEVISION AND NOW ALL THE OTHER TELEVISIONS IN THE HOUSE WORK PERFECTLY. JVC MODEL NUMBER AV-32F703 DEC. 2002 32INCH PURCHASED AT BEST BUY LOCATED IN WILLOW GROVE, PA THE CABLE REPAIR FELLOWS TOLD ME THEY HAVE SEEN THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM A COUPLE TIMES BEFORE WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS SETS. DUE TO THE SERIOUS NATURE OF THIS PROBLEM I AM INTERESTED IN LEARNING HOW TO HAVE A JVC AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTER CORRECT THE PROBLEM AT NO CHARGE. HAS A SERVICE BULLETIN EVER BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS DEFECT PROBLEM? PLEASE ADVISE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. SINCERELY, D.FROMKIN

Hello, I have a JVC GR DVL510 camcorder. I have unplugged it and removed the battery overnight or longer. But after plugging it into the wall for power overnight, the screen comes back with error EO4 Safeguard mode, please remove battery and I think also see customer service...or something to that effect. But it does say EO4 Safeguard mode and remove battery...what can I do now? Thank you for your assistance. Scott

Hi! I have a JVC mini DV camcorder, model number GR-D244u. I purchased it last November and have been having a lot of problems with it. It keeps saying the lense cap is on and now it won't turn on at all. It won't charge or even act like the charger is on it so I thought maybe the problem was with the wall charger so I purchased a new one, which was not easy finding. I just got the wall charger in and it's still recognizing it so I have run out of ideas. I took it to a couple of camcorder repair shops but they all say it's going to be a lot of money to fix it so I'm thinking about just buying a new one, although that stinks a lot because I'm a poor college student and was very proud of this cute little camcorder. Thanks!

Hi Stacy, I have a 1996 JVC AV35750 TV, has worked flawlessly until this morning when it refused to switch on, being an electronics tech myself I have tried leaving it disconnected from the 120AC for a while and combinations of front panel buttons but with no success, symptoms are that either from the on/off switch or the remote it turns on for a few milliseconds then immediately turns off again....any idea's?? As far as I know we had no local power or weather issues last night (since it was last used). Thanks for any pointers. Dave Barrett Vancouver Canada
