I want to save my tapes in a digital format. I own a JVC Model# GR-AXM230. Is it possible to save the tapes created with this camcorder and save them on a disc in a digital format? Do I need to buy a new camcorder in order to record in a digital format in the future?

Hi. I bought a JVC AV32FA54. This was for a summer home so even though the problem started from day 1, I didn't pay attention to it, thinking it was the cable company. Now the warranty is up and Ultimate Electronics (where I bought it) told me that I have to bring it in and they will send it away. My problem is that I live alone and could not plssibly lift it. Having recently moved to Scottsdale,AZ., I do not know of any repair service that can come to my home. Do you know of anyone? This is the problem....the sound gets fuzzy...then I change the channel and it's fine. After a period of time it gets distorted again, and I change the channel again and then return to the originally viewed channe......and the process goes on and on. HELP! Ann Dugan

Hi I have a JVC gr-dvl557 and it recently just stopped working. The power light doesn't come on - even with the ac adapter. I've also tried a new battery - nothing happens. The tape transport is now jammed half way down. Is there a fuse of some sort which may have gone. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks Shane

I have a JVC DR-mv1 dual recorder. It did not come with a manual. I checked JVC's web site to find out they don't have it either. Could you tell me where to get one? Thanks Manuel Balboa Hawthorne, California
