Hi, I was wondering if anyone could provide some guidance. I have a camcorder (JVC GR-AXM310U) that won’t power up. I have tried the batteries and the charger / adapter, but all that happens is the red led on the power switch flashes once then turns off. The camera won’t power up. Is this something that is common, if so how can it be fixed? I am fairly handy with electronics, but I can’t find a service manual or anything for this. Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated. I have called a repair shop, but they wanted $45 (nonrefundable) just to look at it. I figure before I send it in I would see if I could repair it myself. Thank you in advance for your feedback. Hello. I have a 36" JVC television and there is a problem I cant figure out. The channel number or mode eg. V1 (video 1), V2(video 2) is always displayed. Do you know how to turn this mode off? Thanks, Jesse

my camcorder will not allow me record it tells me that my camera is in safemode and to reattach my battery. What does this mean and why is it happening. I just had a new grandson and would like to record those special moments. I was able to record his birth. But when i tried to watch it, the screen was blurry and we could not view. The model # is GR-SXM260U

I have a LCD TV JVC LT-32C50BU that as no image only sound. Do you have any ideas? Is reseting the TV a possibility? It was working fine when i started the configuration and instalation the image disapered and turned black. Thanks, Pedro

Hi! I have a JVC GR-D90U miniDV camcorder. After using it for about 14 months, i am getting a LOW Contrast error symbol with blank screen on LCD and viefinder. My Playback and other functions are working fine but not getting any view on LCD and Viewfinder and no recording. greetings i am looking for a manual for a JVC GR-SXM250U. I need to turn off the display, but can't find a menu or other button to disable it. it currently shows a tape image in the upper left corner, "TBC" below it and on the right side of screen it shows "SP" and the play arrow with the lapsing time count below it. how do i remove the display of info over the image? thanks. mars
