Pechorin site. I have a JVC AV36D502. (a "Y" after the serial #.) I have a Service Manual from SAMS and another sheet of Service Menu Settings from fixyourowntv.com. I want to know what the settings ARE or at least what the nomenclature means iin each of the service menus - picture, theater, pip, low light, high light,rf afc1, rf afc2, t2uvco and i2c bus control. both sheets have made clear which items shouldn't be altered but I'd like the others to further know what the heck each one means. Thanks IN Advance John Row

I have a JVC 700x model digital video camera. My camera was working fine one day and not working at all the next day. When the battery is on the charger, both the power and charger lights blink off and on. I can't tell if this means that the battery is defective, overcharged, or if there is something wrong with my camera. The day before my video camera stopped functioning, I had plugged it into a TV to view what I had tapped. Is it possible that the TV sent a glitch into the video camera? Any suggestions? Thank You!!!!

Dear Stacey, i recently bought a 28" jvc tv and within a month the tv has broken down! The problem is that when the tv is turned on it makes the noise of turning and just before the picture appears the tv dies again, most frustrating! I took it to a tv repair shop who said it was the transistor? i do not trust him and wondered if you would be kind enough to give me some advise on what the problem is, what i should do about and roughly how much it will cost to fix the tv. Kind Regards, Stephane

I purchased a JVC AV27D210 in 2000. It went into storage after about 3 months use and now want to use it. The remote and instructions were lost in the shuffle. It comes on and has a good picture BUT there is a huge black box on the screen that covers the entire screen except for about an inch around the edge. I read on the internet to unplug it for over 4 hours and then plug it back in that would hard boot it and take it back to the factory settings. That didn't work. I also read how to get into the service mode but the universal remote that I bought to replace the original won't let me do it. Got any suggestions...can I purchase another factory-type remote which might help? And I am having trouble finding the procedure to get into the service mode and what to do once I get in there...HELP!!!!! Thanks

Hi I have JVC TC 27 " , TV is working fine, but I think one of channels has been locked ( child lock). I donot have the operating manual and I donot know how to remove the child lock. The video is played normal, but a big black patch is coming on to the screen which I guess means the channel has a child lock. Please help me as to how can I remove this child lock now, also please let me know if I can download operating manual from any internet site. Thanks Dominic

Hi, I have the GR-D90U camcorder and it shows me constantly the lens cap warning. I have noticed it yesterday. Are there any solutions of this problem. I treid with removing the battery and connecting it again. After several on and offs of the camcorder the picture got back for a while, however it dissapeared again and it did not get back. So , basically camcorder behaves as if lens cap was still on, however other functions are working (it takes picture and saves it on card in DSC mode, but the picture is completely black. Please , any solutions?
