Ooops. Forgot to mention that my unit is the JVC GR-D73U. A new problem also popped as whenever you watch video from it parts of the screen appear blue and you could see the message that there's no images stored in memory (the memory card).

Hey I've been having the problem with the lens cap error, when my lens cap is off. I'm afraid my problem may be more serious, as the screen flicker black and gray, even when playing back. It still records sound but I think the LCD screen is broken or something wrong inside. Please send me the information about the lens cap fix. Thanks. Dan
