Please send me the info. you mention to repair the problem with my JVC GR-D33U DV-mini camcorder which has the same problem as many others...lens cap off, but text in viewer says it is on, and camera wont take video, just plays. we just got a second hand JVC GR-D73AA and the screen now goes black when we turn it on and it says 'lens cap'.It didnt do this to begin with but a day after we got it was when it started playing up. can you please send us the solution? we appreciate any help that you can give us!

Hi My daughter was given a JVC GRD73aa by her biological mother. It has no instructions. I am getting the LENS CAP message as is everyone else in this forum. I can play tapes but not record. Can you help me. Thanks Therese

My JVC Digital Video Camera Model GR-D72U has this same problem of black screen and Lens Cap message on Record, but it plays back old tapes fine. Please send me info on the fix. Thanks, Tom
