Error Codes Assistance

Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

Sony DVD player, brand new dvd, put it in player does one of 2 things:
plays without any problem for 1st hour, suddenly freezes picture, either jumps back to previous scene or cuts off and flashes 1300.

OR put in dvd, within 20 sec. flashes 1300 1300 1300 etc.
Can't figure out what to do,sometimes have wipe DVD with soft cloth, sometines used WINDEX and dried very well??
Appreciate any assistence. I called SONY HELP, guy on the phone never heard of codes much less why!!
    Thanks
    Rick

Happy Holidays!!! I was excited about recording our 3 year old and 1 year old boys opening their Christmas gifts but when I turned the camera on it gives me error code C:32:30. It is a Sony Digital 8 Handycam DCR-TRV330. The manual says that it has moisture and I should remove the cassette and leave it open for an hour. However I can't get the cassette compartment to open. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have an old RCA small wonder vhs playback cc176 That has worked fine for several years I let my brother in law use it and it has not worked since. It has a error code E04 and sometimes EO3. I have cleaned the head with alcohol and that did not fix it. I lost the owners manual a long time ago and dont know even how to get rid of the code or know what the codes are. What should I do take it to the shop or buy a new one? If I take it to the shop it will cost as much as buyig a new one. Is that what I should do. Or do you know how to go about fixing this one. I would thank you very much for any info on this old unit. I hate to throw it away it worked very well when it worked. Thanks Bruce

I am trying to open a timeline of a project I was working on, and it keeps saying that it can't open because of an error of type -199. Does you know what this means or how I can fix it?
