Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

I have a Panasonic LS50 portable DVD player and I am getting an H03 error code. When I press play the screen says that it is reading the dvd but I do not hear the dvd spinning up. After a few seconds I get the H03 error. Can you help me? I appreciate it if you can because I keep reading other bulletin boards and they say that they have to send it in for repairs that can range anywhere from $90-200. It's ashame that something so little and expensive can break down so soon after purchase and then have to pay this kind of money to get it working again. Thanks.

    Roland

hey, my girl friends 99 pontiac grand-am's stock cd player wont read any of her cds. it goes in and says (e20) and spits it back out. what does the e20 stand for? i know the e means error, but the 20 isnt explained in the manual, so i dont understand it.

p.s. the trouble happened when she was playing a cd and she hit a bump in the road, suddenly that stuff started happening. if that helps u.

    thanx jim

I have a Sony Camcorder DCR-TRV10 which shows a flashing C:31:23 error code after removing an eaten tape. Your slapping method yeilded a change to a C:31:40 error code ("slapped unit??") and now back to C:31:23. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I already had the unit fixed at Sony last year for the same problem for just under $300. Thank you.

    Hi there.

My car cd player(front loader) is not reading my cds. After I insert the cd into the player it tries to read (play)it for a while but without out any success -after this it just displays a message on the screen - ER08....know what the problem is...???

    Thanks.

I have a Sony DCR-TRV230. This is second time it froze up and flashs the error code 32:30. The tape will not advance or eject. It magically recovered from the same error code about 18 months ago and has been working fine until now.
Battery is fully charged and I have tried the AC adapter without success.
    Please advise.
    Thanks

After a search of all the documents and email advice from emails to some of the receipiants it appears this blog, if thats what it can be called, is maintained by the people who search it like you and I...looking for answers where there are none. Unbelievable that this error code list is out there and seems to be used by JVC as well as Sony and it is not for the public to access. Locked , hidden for only the trained technician. Maybe they dont even have it according to some of the contributors. I will check with my local tech reapir and maybe they will enlighten me. Best wishes to all Phil

SONY UVW-100 CAMCORDER ERROR CODE 91-125

I'M HOPING ITS A DEAD BATTERY WARNING?

    • Re[2]: Error Codes Assistance Kai - 14th Feb 2006 21:04
I just found out that the 91-125 error code for the UVW-100 is an internal systems board error relating to the viewfinder and/or the LCD display (where the time code and audio meters are). I was having a problem with the LCD display not working. Luckily, the error code went away while I was on the phone with Sony tech support, and the display works fine now. Incidentally, their broadcast support number is 866-766-9272.

I am having the same issue with error code 91-125. The problem goes away after the unit is powered up for about 30 minutes. It will come back the next time you power up. Can anyone help?

Error, I'm an audio guy who just got a Sony UVM 100 for a back up front of house corporate show live feed cam. I got the same error and the LCD didn't function. This is typical in musical keyboards when the lithium button battery dies. The one on the cam was so asscessable, I figured it had to have something to do with it. Tested it, it was dead. I replaced it an the error went away immediately and it all works fine. Just though someone would like to know
