Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  I have a DCR-TRV340 digital8 sony camcorder. I keep getting error code C:31:40. I've done all it says in the manual. I have been getting often and now it just comes on. I cannot use the tape with it.

  I have a ricoh FT4222 I am getting an error message of E-70 and the duplex light is lit up.....I have been trying to get a manual from the company but they are not answering my e mails....I would really like to know if this is a fixable problem, or if i should just boot this thing out the door...Please help if you can.   I have 2x UVW1400 PAL Beta SP decks. Both are showing Error 2-403 when switched on. Any help would be very nice.

    I have the same message on my UVW1200. The best i can offer is the error code sheet downloaded fom Sony. Reply and i'll send you the pdf. Good luck Brian

  i have a panasonic rv32 dvd/cd player had it for 5 years now but i now have F498 displayed and it wont even open or close now please do you know what the f code means and any quick fixes.

    Hi, found this on internet: "My Panasonic NV-VHD1B-S went faulty after 8 months ownership from new (December 2002) and it displayed the dreaded F498 error code. None of the DVD/CD control buttons on the front panel or remote controller would operate the DVD functions. The VHS functions continued to work OK??? I returned the unit to the dealer (12th August 2003) and it was repaired and returned within 24hrs. The dealer report read as follows:- "Repaired dry joint on flash memory IC. (Flash Memory IC37001, Prt No. RFKFD002A080)" Dry joints are common on old electronic equipment but unusual on new equipment. Because the F498 error code is quite common, I suggest this points to a manufacturing defect, possibly in the flow soldering process. The remedy in my case was simple: resolder the defective joints by hand. No new parts were required. Regards Phil "

  Found you through Google on the Pechonrin's website.
  I need help with an Error 34. A window comes up as the desktop is loading with the Erro 34 on it. I can close the window and the desktop will load correctly. However, the error windown is annoying. Any suggestions? I am running WINXP pro on a Dell 4100 Inspiron laptop.

  panasonic home dvd player...model#DVD-RV22,playes for one min.then stops and error message HO7 appears..? what could it be,can it be fixed?

      I have the same problem err code on panasonic NV-VHD1B 498 draw wont open in fact dvd will not respond to anything - however it did work briefly after a 498 error code - then went again. Any help gratefully accepted.
