kate Sutton - 29th Aug 2004 19:22 I have a JVC digital cancorder model # GRD30 ser. # 108W0678. All of a sudden my camera won't do anything at all. It has no power and when I try to recharge it, the recharge light won't come on. I tried a new battery but the same thing happens. It is so dead that it won't even release the tape. It was fine the last time I used it. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Jennifer - 21st Dec 2004 22:24 I have the same problem as Ms. Sutton. Model# GR-D30U, serial # 118U3075.
I was using the camera and all of the sudden it went dead. I tried to recharge the battery, but that was ineffective. I tested the battery with a volt-amp meter and it showed 7.2vdc, and .8amps. I also tested the charger and it also tested fine. I purchased a new battery and continue to have the same problem: no power, no charging indicating light, etc.
Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Jennifer

DEON MARION - 31st Aug 2004 20:03 I HAVE OWNED A JVC GR-D70U FOR ABOUT TWO MONTHS NOW AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN IT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPENED OUT OF THE ORDINARY WAS THAT I LEFT IT IN MY CAR ONE DAY. THE BATTERY WAS ALREADY VERY LOW. WHEN I GOT IT OUT TO CHARGE IT I GOT NOTHING! COULD IT BE THAT THE BATTERY IS SO DEAD THAT IT WON'T EVEN POWER THE UNIT? OR SHOULD I AT LEAST GET SOME POWER JUST BECAUSE IT IS PLUGGED UP TO THE ADAPTER?

We have purchased a JVC TV, AV-27WF36. I would like to use my RCA remote for all of our devices instead of the JVC remote, #RM-C203G. Is there a specific code to use for a RCA remote to control a JVC TV? -Bill Burton 704-782-3767
