I have a JVC camcorder GR-AX841. It looks like the cassette got stuck at the stage where the compartment should open after pressing Eject. I watched what was on tape, worked OK, but when I pressed Eject, I did hear the internal motor making some noise. The compartment did not open and now, I cannot do any thing with my camcorder: I get a blue screen, the battery shows full, and then the camcorder switches off by itself. The battery is fine, and charged. Where can I find instruction to open the camcorder and unstuck the cassette? I am fairly good at DIY jobs. Thanks

i have a HXD7 system. the protect code comes on. i have the regulator E-4959 out & looking for a short. could you please give me a component to look for? i also checked the diodes. thank you again! frank giordano

Hi Stacy, Thank God I found you...hopefully you can assist me... I just changed my broken CH-X350 with a newer CH-X1500 car model. The remote is a KS-RF37. Everything looks fine, there is power and the buttons on the remote respond. One problem... I am getting an error message "R-8" on the remote. I have tried the troubleshooting solution of holding down the "eject" button but to no avail. Is the remote compatible? If so, how do I get it to work again?? I'm all out of solutions.
