Assistance with JVC product
If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

steve - 21st Aug 2004 17:28 JVC 36 inch TV AV360302. The set tures off, the picture is blank, the red light on blinks, the TV will play for a while if it is unplugged and the replugged. What is wrong

I have a GR-DX75 that I have had for about 3 months, and it suddenly has stopped playing tapes back. Both when I use the playback and look at the monitor, and when I attach it to another video device, all I get is either the blue screen, or a garbled screen that contains bits of images from several different tapes that I have shot. For example, I just recently shot video in Washington state, but now when I try to play it back to download it, I am getting a blue screen, that alternates with the garbled picture that shows part of the Washington tape, but also a couple of tapes I shot some time ago. What do I need to do? Thanks, Ron Wilson

ROSEMARY - 22nd Aug 2004 2:36 JVC AV-32230 32" TV goes on and off by itself. The timer & sleep mode are off. Is there anything else I can check? Is servicing it worth it?

hey i have a Jvc KD-SX980 CDMP3 Player in my car and i just bought it at a garage sale and its almost brand new except (for the small clip that goes into the hole to hold the deck on so it wont fall off when it folds down) is missing the spring so it wont hold the deck when it folds down to eject the cd. now when i tried to eject the cd the face folded down but the cd never ejected it just kept makin the noise that it would eject but nothing came out and i was just wondering does the spring have to do with the cd not ejecting becuase it seems like it from when you push eject the side with the bad plastic hand is on an angle so it seems like it should be more on a straight angle but if thats not hte problem of the cd not ejecting can you give me a few point on what it could be. k thanks

James Robinson - 23rd Aug 2004 21:45 My JVC camcorder model#GR-SXM920U has gone into safeguard mode. My old battery went dead while recording. I replaced it and the camcorder went into this mode and I can't use it. I use good quality batteries and tapes. If it costs more than a hundred dollars to fix, I'll just buy another brand. Abhishek Shah - 24th Aug 2004 1:40 JVC GR-DVP 3U. I'm getting constant clean head message on my camera. I bought a disk that cleans the heads, with no result. Is there a service center in the miami area where i can take it? or a product i can buy to fix it? thanks

Having the same problem, no amount of head cleaning will correct this!! Picture has 4 bands of garbled information across it, it is driving me mad!! Any help gretefully received!!

shari - 24th Aug 2004 15:56 i am trying to play the videos i took on my computer using my jvc gr-dvx 707ek, but i am unable to do so. I am using the usb cable provided with the camcorder but the computer cant detect the camcorder even after i have re-installed the driver. What shall i do now?

Ashish - 24th Aug 2004 19:26 Hi, I have a JVC camcorder which i bought 2 yrs back. Since a long time it is giving me some problems. It is a progressive scan mini DV camcorder. But every now and then a message comes on its LCD to remove and reattach battery, unit in safeguard mode. This is happening very frequently for quite some time now making it very difficult to shoot or play cassettes, also sometimes the message comes as head cleaning required, i have to restart it and try again. Once out of 10 times it works. How to solve this problem ? Please reply soon, Regards, Ashish
