I have a JVC 28" color TV, model number AV-F29MX3, that was built in May, 2001. I'm having troublewith the sound. Occasionally, the sound on the TV will go completely out, sometimes, fading back in, sometimes not. If I turn the TV off though, the sound will come right back on. Is anyone else having this problem? What's the fix?

I have a JVC GR-DVM5. When I try to play, rewind or fastforward a tape, I get an E04 message and the camera freezes. If I reset or turn it off, it looks okay until I try to play again.

Steve - 29th Mar 2005 2:14 Manny, read other meesages here about the same problem with similar JVC models. I just became one of the many here who replaced the C926 capacitor for less than $2 and solved the problem.

Hi, I am a service tech for the school board of polk county florida. I have a few jvc model rx-6010vbk amps with same problem. the display reads "overload". I have a schematic but it is inadequate. I also can not get any support from jvc because we are not a sevice center. Is this a problem you are familiar with? Have tried the usual trouble shooting to no avail. Are there any service bulletins I can obtain? Thank you for your help. Ken Cook PCSB A/V DEPT. note:www.pechorin.com
