John Connor - 16th Sep 2004 22:18 I have a AV-27020 27" which has white horizontal lines that show up on the top 2" of the screen. I believe that one or more of the electrolytic capacitors, on the vertical part of the board are burned out. I have had the TV for a few years, what would the cost be to order a new board for it all together, versus, having a JVC repairman, come & fix just the problem? I am a bit angry, because these lines were starting back in FEB, and a repairman, came out(in APR) from the Circuit City, warranty department. He told me nothing was wrong, & stated that it would last for years and not get worse. It didn\'t until the beginning of SEP now, they tell me that I only had 90 days from APR, to have it looked at again, because that is when the warranty expired...not sure if it is cost effective to repair, thanks John

If you do not get this issue addressed, you Vertical IC will burn out!
