I have a AV-27020 27" which has white horizontal lines that show up on the top 2" of the screen. I believe that one or more of the electrolytic capacitors, on the vertical part of the board are burned out. I have had the TV for a few years, what would the cost be to order a new board for it all together, versus, having a JVC repairman, come & fix just the problem?
I am a bit angry, because these lines were starting back in FEB, and a repairman, came out(in APR) from the Circuit City, warranty department.
He told me nothing was wrong, & stated that it would last for years and not get worse. It didn\'t until the beginning of SEP now, they tell me that I only had 90 days from APR, to have it looked at again, because that is when the warranty expired...not sure if it is cost effective to repair, thanks John
