    Hello,

I have an AV-32F476 flatscreen TV that was near a lighting storm and since then doesn't turn on at all.

I'm an electrical engineer and want to repair it myself, since nothing else makes sense economically (repair cost would be higher than the cost of the TV). I already opened and checked the obvious in the power supply unit (fuse, diodes, transformers) without success.

    Any suggestion???

Thanks in advance and best regards - Alex

My JVC AV27850 runs fine, but as of last night all channels display a black strip convering 90% of the center of the picture. The strip is not there for things like menu function. lease advise.

you may want to take it back and get a new one because that is what i had to do. make sure that you still have the receit though, without the receit you can not do anything.... just like a pack of gum.... if it is old hard and soggy, take that gum back if you have the receit.

Hi, I have a GR-D70U and everything is working fine except that whenever I try to record something, the lens cap sign comes on. I always take it off before turning it on so I cannot figure out the problem. I've tried cleaning it and looking through the manual plus a lot of websites but I can't seem to find one that will help me. I saw this website with a lot of replys and questions that seemed to work so I was hoping that you could help me.

    Thank you.

i have JVC handy cam which i purchased from dubai 4 yrs ago.Now the handy cam is not working in playback option.only recording is possible. The cam remains in OFF position itself when it is switched to play option. Moreover previously it has the problem that while playing by connecting it to the power plug after playing for sometime it switches to safe mode. Why it happens like that?i think it must work directly from the supply without taking the battery charge while it is connected to the supply. My native place is KERALA -INDIA.where i 've to go to obtain a good service for the cam or wht is the details of the problem happened with the cam.My cam model No: is GR-SXM280 S-VHSC 625.Can u forward me the detail cicuit and tell me the actual problem occured with the cam.I'm an engineer so either i can try out or can contact any other service centre to correct the problem.

    Hi,
I am hoping you can help me out with this. I have had a JVC GR-D53 Video Camera for about a year and have kept it in near perfect condition.

It has begun to display vertical lines when the camera is on (this is visible on the LCD screen as well the viewfinder), which makes it impossible to see any objects, let alone record them!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello,
I have a problem with my FVC GR-D73U. When I turn it on and put it on mode A or M, I dont get a picture I get a sound though. Same thing happens when I try to record. Sometimes it showes a picture for a couple of seconds then goes away again. But when I watch on Play it shows a good picture for Videos I recorded before I had this problem. I also checked and recharged the battery, but no changes. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

I purchased a JVC dvd vcr player model# DR-MV5SU about a month ago. It had been working fine until the other night when I was watching a DVD and paused it for a couple of minutes, came back to finish watching the movie and the word RESET was flashing on the front display panel and the picture was gone. It was like the machine completely froze up on me. I tried to get the DVD out of the machine, but the disc tray won't open. I tried unplugging the machine and plugging it back in and I keep getting the same message. It says nothing in the manual about how to fix it. In the meantime my DVD is stuck in the machine. Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks!
