I have a JVC Camcorder 700x Digitsal Zoom. The model number is GR-DVL520U. The mini DV have a hard time loading. I believe my son had pushed down on the part that you put the mini DV into. When it finally does load, it reads an error on the screen and ask that you eject the tape. I brought it to a certified JVC repair shop. The cost to fix was over $180 and it would cost an additional $60 if needs new parts. This seems high considering a model that is over 4 years old. Please advise if there is a comparable product or if this is worth fixing. Thanks, Albert

Hi there I have a GR-D250 which has just come out of its warranty and has come up with a 01 error. The battery seems to be fully charged and the connectors on both battery and camera seeem ok. What are the pads/connecions T and C denote, are tyhey sense lines that the camera's microprocessor uses to note that the battery is in position. How can I clear this error? regards Doug Anderson

Hi, Really hoping you can help me. I have a GR-D50EK Digital Vedo Camera I have only used it a handful of times. I charged it up to make sure it wall working as my friend wants to borrow it and no matter what i do my screen is black and reads remove lens cap. It si in mint condition kept in a case. I've tried both batteries in case it was them. I try it each day but no luck. The lens cap is not on and I have tried everything. Power down - no battery - nothing works. The one thing I have noticed and tried to turn off is that the icon for manual adjust is flashing. Followed instructions to switch it off but it won't. Really hoping you can help. Many thanks Sharon ps My friend wanted to borrow it to go to Lapland, if I can get it working is this OK ? or is it too cold there to take to? Thanks again

I have the JVC Gr-dx77U mini dv camcorder and every time I turn it on to record it zooms in all the way and stays there. I read on another post to pull the eye piece out and that worked. Is this the only fix for the problem? Thanks for your assistance! Carol
