I have the JVC DVD 7 disc player model XV-F80 since about 2002 and had no problems until now. I was playing a dvd for my daughter and I heard a pop sound and looked up at the tv screen to see the following message: "upgrade application initializing" and the front of the player said loading. I left it to see what would happen for about 20 mins then I just turned it off. I tried to remove her disc first but could not. After I turned it on I opened the player and took out the disc, all disc were out, and the message came up again. I turned it off and unplugged it for the rest of the day and in the evening I turned it on only to see the same message. I did call JVC and the CSR told me he never heard of that message and I should bring it to a JVC Authorized repair. Can you help me with this problem.

Our jvc tv clicks on and off repeatedly and the only way to stop it is to unplug it.

I am having problems ejcting my cassett and it is in E04 unit in safeguard mode and it says to remove and reattach the battery.My model is GR AXM 250U, my concern is to know how to fix it or where I can send it for service.It is important because a very important event was recorded in the cassett that is stuck.Please I would appreciate it if you respond to my concern. I know that it is an older model but I would like to fix it. Thank you.

27 inch TV. Model No. AU 27BM6 Made in 1995. A large black area appears on the screen. When changing channels it may go away for a moment, then come back. The black area is square and covers most of the display. Where the display is not covered, the picture is fine. Sound is fine. Same result if using a rabbit ear antenna or satellite TV.

Hi my JVC 800x wont play tapes. The screen just stays blue other then that everything seems to be normal. It rewinds fast forwards. I know there is footage on the tapes because they are full.
