Assistance with JVC product

If anyone has a question regarding a problem with thier JVC product (error codes, safeguard mode etc) write me for troubleshooting assistance. Please provide your model # if available and note this site so I can assist you better.

    Please help. My JVC TV (27 inch) stays on for 10 seconds and then shuts off - timer light blinks. I disconnnected everything for a day to no avail.

    3 seconds after power-up: E01 "Unit in Safeguard Mode"

    Removing battery for a LONG time did not clear the condition.

    I can't eject my tape...TDK tape may have caused this? (but what can I do to get the tape out?

    I have a camcorder S/N# 168Z0015 which was bought from Fry's Electronics this year by Ajo School District. I am their Video Production Coordinator. The camera died with the tape inside. Even with the power supply plugged in, the tape will not eject. The power comes on, but no functions work to the camera. Please help.

      I just purchased this model cam-corder so the question about this same model not rejecting the tape alarmed me. Especially since my brother had a different model JVC and had the same problem while in Europe in September. Does this seem to be a design flaw and should I just take the unit back and continue using my 10-year old Sony unit? Thanks, Leslie Hill

    Model # AV-32770 this JVC TV has no picture, just a bright white horizontal line across center of picture tube. Sound is fine. Suspect transformer part # cj28212-00aj1. Previous symptons for last week (before picture went out completely) was it would work for about 1 to 5 minutes then picture would scamble and finally go to the horizontal line. With the back off, the picture completely went to the white line when this Xformer part was gently vibrated. Is there a schematic of this transformer available so I can test the continuity of the transformer taps?

    Hello. I just bought a JVC MiniDV model GR-D31U. It seems to work fine, except I cannot get it to function with A/V IN (only out). Is this AV IN/OUT or just OUT? I bought this used. It does not include the remote. I cannot figure out how to do this using the camera itself, or if it is possible. Please help if possible. Thank you.

      hello, i have the same probleme as you, my comcorder jvc gr-d31u doesn't work with my firewire card IEEE 1394, it seems that we need a driver for this, have you any solution or a driver. thank's

    JVC AV-27890. Video Collapsed to a horizontal line at mid screen. After leaving set off for awhile picture would come back. This went on for a few days. Now there is no picture or line. Any thoughts. Thanks

    I own a JVC GR-D90U camcorder. No more picture through the screen or eyepiece when I try to record. It says I have the lens cap on when I do not.It plays back previous recorded tapes. I bought it 1 year back.
