I have a JVC digital handy cam modle no. GR-D90u. Ser no. 148L0278. I cannot get the DV port connected to the USB port of my computer. I have installed the usb driver (a disc of which was provided to me but I am not able to see the contents of the camera on the computer. The computer says unknown device. Maybe te driver provided may be incorrect. Or maybe the port for connection which i am using may be incorrect. Can i use the S viedo port for storing my vedio files on my comp. Please respond.Rregards.

To Whom: I have a gorgeous little GR-DVL920U and I would like to INPUT old analog video from a VHS into the JVC Camcorder...in essence, transferring the signal to a digital format that I can then input to a MAC and have some fun with it. That being said, the manual intimates that this can be done through the standard AV cable into the front and hints that the S-video port is an "in" also...is that true? (Thought I'd better ask before experimenting.)
Thanks for your help.

Rhonda Mayhew - 12th Nov 2004 1:23 I have a JVC GR AX220U camcorder. It turns on but now started turning back off right away. I had an RCA with this problem and took a tiny lithium battery out of it to reset it. After that it worked. Could this be the problem with this?
