iv tried a new memory stick but it still gives same error.

Hi I have a new memory stick of 128MB x2 that is giving me the error C:13:01 what can I do to get it fix? please let me know as soon is possible. thanks, Eduin Espinoza.

I have had the C:13:01 error on several cameras. Two I have sent in for repairs under warranty. Three (2-FD92's and a 1-FD100) cameras I opened up and found a ribbon cable in the upper left hand corner to be dislodged on the bottom making the cable crooked. I inserted the cable in straight and it fixed the error on all three. Good luck to all.

had same problem with error code. am waiting on a new floppy drive from sony. will be $94.20 with tax and shipping and should be here in 4 to 5 days. not too bad when you consider the ocst of total replacement. and i did take the entire camera apart and found nothing obvious that is wrong.

Hi - Ive just purchased the cyber-shot dsc-p73 along with 128 memory stick. After taking a couple of shots the camera then won;t let me access anything, then after a while comes up with "Memory Stick error" c:13:01. The camera is brand new. I;ve tried removing and re-installing the memory stick a number of times, but the same message comes up. Suggestions as to what might be wrong? Thanks - Nad

NOW ALL DISKS I USE COME UP WITH THIS MESSAGE. I CAN\'T TAKE PICTURES OR SEE WHAT IS ON THE ORIGINAL DISKS. I TRIED FORMATING WITH NO SUCCESS.IS THERE SOMETHING I AM MISSING? PLEASE HELP,JEFF

I had problem with my memory stick 256 MB 2x type Lexar, and the "a side" had a C:13:01 memory stick problem. So first I tried to format by using setup mode to format in a camera, but it is not allow to. Then I tried to format by window(xp) using card reader after that I format my memory stick by my camara and this time I can format it. It is work. I can use this memory stick again. My camara is S85. If you can format with your camera you might need to format by computer first.

I have found the trouble with sony mavica cd cameras. It's a repair to the camera not software. I have fixed at lest twenty with the error. email me for more information.
