Y asunto concluido

Take a pencil eraser, and clean the contacts on the memory stick. Make sure you blow off the eraser dust. Thats is all I did. Mine worked fine afterwards. I like my Sony Camera, didn't think it could have been the camera. www.basiclife.com

    SOLUTION:
Hi I have a PSC-P52. My camera dropped and then it gave the C:13:01 error. I turn off the camera, take off the memory stick and the batteries. Using a card reader I recovered the pics on a pc (so the memory was working right)

Then I put the lock option on the memory stick and that's all! The memory stick was read on the camera and then i turned off the camara and set off the lock option.

    Francisco.

Tried everything. It was apparent that the problem is in the camera (F717) as three Memory Stcks gave the same error. Finally someone mentioned to just push the MS further in. With my camera on (not sure that matters), I removed and replaced, pressing it in pretty hard - bingo! All three sticks work.

HAHAHHA! Thank you guys. As many other people said, I just tried slapping the camera a few times and voilá it worked.

Thanks for making me save some hundreds in repairing.

    Agustin.

I have a SonyDCRDVD108....I actually dropped the camera while it was on a tripod and got the E:61:00 error. After reading 5 accounts of either hitting the camera or dropping the camera to fix it I thought I would try. Unbelievable....it worked!

Thanks much! We tried the eraser and it didn't work. Then my husband thumped the camera about 20 times and "wala" it works now! Thanks for the help!!!
