SONY C:13:01 ERROR

I get error C:13:01 in SONY cyber short camera. PLEASE GIVER REPLY HOW TO REPAIR.

  Hi - Ive just purchased the cyber-shot dsc-p73 along with 128 memory stick. After taking a couple of shots the camera then won;t let me access anything, then after a while comes up with "Memory Stick error" c:13:01.
  The camera is brand new. I;ve tried removing and re-installing the memory stick a number of times, but the same message comes up.
  Suggestions as to what might be wrong?

  before you throw your mavica away because of DRIVE ERROR message write me. may have solution or purchase your camera.

    have a fd91 and bought thee sony floppy adaptor but will not read it c 13 01 error ideas? andy

    Dan, You said you have a solution? The camera works fine with standard floppies but not with the new memory stick adapter. The adapter works just fine in six other computers. Hope you have the magic answer. Ross

  had same problem with error code. am waiting on a new floppy drive from sony. will be $94.20 with tax and shipping and should be here in 4 to 5 days. not too bad when you consider the ocst of total replacement. and i did take the entire camera apart and found nothing obvious that is wrong.

  I have had the C:13:01 error on several cameras. Two I have sent in for repairs under warranty. Three (2-FD92's and a 1-FD100) cameras I opened up and found a ribbon cable in the upper left hand corner to be dislodged on the bottom making the cable crooked. I inserted the cable in straight and it fixed the error on all three. Good luck to all.

  We had taken picutres for my dughters birthday party and when trying to save them to Pc we are getting this error, we know for sure we have those pictures in the memory stic. Any help to get those picutes back would be really greate help for us, as those picutes are very important for us.

  Hi I have a new memory stick of 128MB x2 that is giving me the error C:13:01 what can I do to get it fix?

  I was trimming photos in my sony camera.Then i put my memory stick in a portable printer to print my photos and it would not respond.So i put the memory stick back in the camera and it came up as MEMORY STICK ERROR.
  
  1/ WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY MEMORY STICK?
  2/ I STILL HAVE 18 PHOTOS IN MEMORY,HAVE I LOST THEM OR CAN I RETREVE THEM?
