Assistance for Error Codes

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

  No error codes but was wondering if you could help. I have aPanasonic PV-D4744S combo DVD VCR that does not power on. I think it suffered a power surge during a storm. No obvious damage (not blackened anywhere or fuses blown) I have got 40V AC from secondary side. Makes a kind of squeal like the thing is trying to charge up or something then a squeal down when unplugged. Any tips or pointers? Thanks.

  I have a Sony DCR-HC90 Handycam.
  I keep geeting an error code of E:61:11 or E:61:00.
  When I get this error, the camera cannot autofocus and seems to try to focus using the zoom switch. The viewfinder will flicker and the camera will make a continuous clicking noise.
  I am on vacation, with no Sony service available.
  Any ideas?

  My Camera is DCR-TRV145E PAL.For one week I receive the Errorcode disply E:61:10 Bevor this display I received Errorcode C:31:40.Now it's unpossible to open the drive- box in order to remove the cassette. What can I do to remove remove the cassette from the camera?

  my trv 25 shows c:31:23 error message , when i put the cassette , it show this error message. I tried removing Battery and power card some many times. But no help. it use to help before , when i saw the same issue.

  My camera is a Sony DCR-TRV17
  
  I am having a persistant error code C:21:00 and sometimes a waterdrop and/or a solid triangle with a line under it... it happened a week or so ago on vacation and I reset it and took battery off and after a bit it went away, though it did recur a couple of times and responded again to the same fix...
  
  Now it's back and won't seem to respond to a reset...
  
  Any help would be appreciated...

    I have the same exact problem. The same error code flashes with the triangle do-dad. However I have never seen the water droplet. Also on my camera it hapens sporaticly. Incase you were wondering i too have the same camera DCR-TRV17. Help would be greatly apreaceated!!!

  Hello.......I am a ex-Houstonian.....miss it sometimes!!
  Well heres my problem....I have an hp Photosmart 735 and it was working fine and then I went to show my husband the pics I took last night and it froze...with the lens stuck out and it will not do anything but power on and all icons on the top screen (not the LCD) come on and stay there then it powers off...I have tried taking out the batteries, sd card, new batteries and even spoke with Hp and they said it sounds like an internal problem (duh)they said I can buy a refurbised one for $114 of the same camera (I don't even think so) well I am hoping that you know something they don't...I have only had this camera 1 1/2 years.     I have the exact same problem with my HP 735 camera....and it has about 1 1/2 years on it as well. Too bad no one makes QUALITY cameras that last anymore! My previous camera was a Fuji. I had an extended warranty, so Staples gave me this camera has a replacement, which ended up being a disaster as well!

  I have a Sony DCR PC5E which has a c21:00 error code, I have left it open for about six days hoping this would sort out the damp problem but it still remains with the error code, could you advise if there is anything else I could do.

    Hi. just remove the battery and switch die camera on (it remove all left electricity) than hit it in you hand very hard 3-4 times, after this is complete reset and this error is gone. It worked with many other people having this problem. Greetings from germany carsten

  I need assistance with my 1997 Audi A8. It has the six disc trunk mounted cd changer with a cartridge that comes out for loading cds. the system was working fine until i tried to remove the cartridge from the cd changer while there was one still in the play mechanism. I had forgotten that the power was on and the cd was loaded. The code "CD00ER" showed up on the radio's screen and the cartridge would not want to come out of the changer. It was like the cd system went into a "safe mode". I removed the cartridge manually from the changer and also removed the cd that was in the cd player, but the same error code appears. I even removed and re-attached the battery and reset the radio code but the cd still shows the error message. The radio and cassette work fine. The cd player was working just fine before this and I was very careful in removing the cd that was in the cd player. Could you offer any assistance?

    I have the same problem with my cd changer in my 1997 Audi A8. Did you ever resolve the issue with yours?
